Casualties recorded after a PNH armored tank opened fire on a public transport minibus in Port-au-Prince
Trade unionist Méhu Changeux, contacted by telephone by Juno7, confirmed this Tuesday, May 7, 2024, in the afternoon, that an armored tank belonging to the PNH opened fire on a minibus traveling from Carrefour to downtown Port-au-Prince.
In his statements, Méhu Changeux confirmed that the action occurred not far from the stronghold of the gang leader of Village de Dieu. However, he is not able to give an assessment of this shooting.
At the time of writing this article (7:13 p.m.), Méhu Changeux invites the authorities to take care of this situation so that the victims can receive the care their case requires.
