The wishes of the CPT to Haitian mothers, “Bòn Fèt ak tout Manman”, apparently benevolent, are paradoxical in view of its actions, with five names of “prime ministers” men selected from a list of more than sixty men and women wishing to occupy the position.

Indeed, this branch of a two-person executive has not selected any woman as a potential candidate for the post of Prime Minister, leaving doubt about its real commitment to equality. How can we pretend to work for a less unequal future for all women while perpetuating their exclusion from the highest political offices?
