After the release of the National Mannschaft list, the Germans continue to protest by mentioning the names of the major absentees from this selection, especially the future finalists of the 2024 Champions League.

Some finalists absent despite everything

If Alexander Nübel, Antonio Rudiger and Toni Kroos were selected by Julian Naggelsman, this is not the case for Matts Hummels, Julian Brandt, Niklas Süle, Karim Adeyemi and Marco Reus.

_Matts Hummels:_
Author of a monstrous season with Borussia Dortmund, twice man of the match in the double confrontation against PSG, the defender was forgotten by Nagelsmann.

_Julian Brandt :_
To everyone’s surprise, the Borussia Dortmund player was not selected by Nagelsmann for the next Euro, despite his 9 goals and 16 assists. He would have been important in the system of the German football selection.

_Karim Adeyemi :_
The jewel of the yellows and blacks is not part of the list of German players for the Euro. Despite his important starting status, Adeyemi is not part of Nagelsmann’s plans.

_Niklas Süle :_
Another regular missing from this list for the Euro. Despite his solidity and consistency alongside Matts Hummels, the player was forgotten by the German technician.

_Marco Reus :_
The unlucky German was not as included in this list. For his last season with Borussia Dortmund, the yellow and black captain is one of the sadly forgotten ones on this list.

_Regulars absent due to poor performance_
If some are forgotten despite their exceptional season, others are forgotten because of their poor performance.

_Timo Werner :
After a season where he performed poorly and consistently, the Tottenham Hotspur player will attend the Euro as a fan of the German selection.

_Léon Goretzka_
Known for his combativeness and his solidity in the middle of the field, Goretzka was also forgotten by Nagelsmann. Since the arrival of Thomas Tuchel at Bayern, the player has entered the shadow of Schlager and Alexander Pavlović, who is on the list for the Euro.
