With a view to preparing the deployment of the MMSS in Haiti, the CPT met a Kenyan delegation.
This Thursday, May 23, 2024 in the afternoon, the members of the Transitional Presidential Council met with a Kenyan delegation present in Haiti since Monday, May 20, 2024 to discuss the preparation and implementation of the deployment of the Multinational Security Support Mission in the country.
According to a source close to the Council, during this meeting, the Presidential Advisors expressed their commitment to the fight against insecurity and said they were ready to welcome the mission. As for the members of the delegation, they renewed Kenya’s desire to help Haiti fight against the armed gangs who are sowing terror in the country, particularly in the capital.
In the process, it must be said that this Thursday, May 23, still as part of the preparations for the deployment of the multinational force, the Chief Inspector General, Fritz Saint Fort met with the commanders of the specialized units of the police institution.
During this meeting, Mr. Fritz Saint Fort encouraged them to behave more professionally during operations, together with the foreign police officers. They congratulated them for their courage in the fight against insecurity.
