Junior Benjamin, a young Haitian from our community, the internationally bestselling author of “The Powerful Marriage,” is a truly remarkable person. His journey, from high school in Haiti, to Broward College in Florida, where he continued his university studies. To this day, he is a proud student of Asbury Seminary, where he is pursuing a Master of Divinity degree.
Junior Benjamin’s prowess goes beyond academic achievements. A devoted husband and father, he cherished and raised a family of four children. He understands the importance of communication, love, forgiveness and healing to maintain a healthy and fulfilling family life.
Notwithstanding, Junior Benjamin’s life faced an unexpected challenge in October 2019 when he lost his job. This setback was compounded by the global pandemic which struck three months later. The impact of COVID-19 made his job search difficult, but fortunately he was able to find some comfort in spending more time with his family.
It was during this time of reflection and introspection that Junior felt a stirring deep in his soul. He felt the need to write a book on marriage with God’s help. Driven by a deep sense of purpose, he embarked on a journey to share his wisdom and experience with the world. During this process, he contacted his friend Vanessa François, author of “Senegal, an experience that transforms”, to obtain advice on the process.
After a lot of hard work and dedication, Junior’s book, “The Powerful Marriage,” was finally published in March 2024 with the help of his mentor, Dr. Mercidieu “Phil” Phillips, CEO of Level Up Coaching Solutions, LLC who guided him through the process of finding a good publisher.
This book was an instant success and had a lasting impact on those who read it. Whether you are single, engaged, married or divorced. Junior’s heartfelt and relevant message resonates with readers. Her book provides practical information for getting to know yourself before or after entering into a relationship and tools for building strong, lasting relationships.
