The wicked, cynical, hypocritical and cruel character of the Haitian man has no equal.
Friend and brother, your assassination symbolizes that there is no longer any human in man. You were the embodiment of kindness, dignity and honesty.
You believed in everything that was good, beautiful and wonderful. You loved this country deeply, you devoted your life to helping the weakest. In return, you were coldly and cowardly murdered.
In all my existence I have never met a man as straight and rectilinear as you. Your vision for entrepreneurship has made you a role model for many.
Making things better around you was your only concern. The better Haiti that you dreamed of, and that you believed so firmly, unfortunately you did not see it.
Why were you murdered? and why is it you? You had no room in your heart for hatred, you were so simple, sober and humble. You sought neither glory nor vanity; being useful was quite simply your only credo, the very foundation of your existence.
May the Great Architect of the universe, the omnipresent and the omnipotent, may the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Immaculate mother accompany you and grant you Justice, Justice and Justice.
I bow to your memory, you were a great man.
Goodbye Friend and Brother. That your soul rest in peace.
