2026-world-qualifiers:-the-grenadiers-almost-complete

48 hours before the launch of their campaign in the qualifiers for the 2026 Football World Cup, the Grenadiers, led by Frenchman Sébastien Migné, are almost complete to face Saint Lucia on Thursday in Bridgetown.

The last to arrive: Ricardo Adé. The strong defender from LDU Quito arrived Monday evening and brings to 20 the number of Grenadiers present on Barbadian territory.

In Barbados, the Haitians will play two crucial matches to get their campaign off to a good start. First, they will face Saint Lucia on June 6 before facing the Barbadian football team on June 9.

The French technician will be able to count on the Pierrot-Nazon duo, already present at the gathering, as will the Toronto scorer, Derrick Etienne.

Nantais Jean Kevin Duverne and young Carl Fred Sainthé from FC Dallas are in the group as well as Vancouver striker Fabrice “Fafa” Picault.

Remember that the Grenadiers are in group C and must finish at least 2e to move on to the next round.

The two other matches of the Haitian selection in the group phase are scheduled against Aruba and Puerto Rico respectively on June 7 and 10, 2025..
