The Transitional Presidential Council has finally decided. After several weeks spent procrastinating, the presidential advisors have set their sights on Garry Conille to lead the second version of the Transitional Government.

The name of the new Prime Minister is now known. It was the citizen, Garry Conille who won the prize after a very stormy process. The former Prime Minister from September 2011 to May 16, 2012 obtained the position following a consensus between the advisors following the hearings of the candidates who were still in the race. Hearing conducted by seven of the nine advisors in the absence of Régine Abraham and Laurent Sait-Cyr traveling.

Mr. Conille, current Regional Director of UNICEF for Latin America and the Caribbean, must ensure the administration of the new Government during the remaining time of this new team. If at the CP level, there will be four coordinators in the meantime, Mr. Connille will be the only head of the Prime Minister’s office until the end of the mandate of the advisors.

Unhappy in the race, Alix Didier Fils-Aimé greeted her now former rival. “I present my sincere congratulations to the Prime Minister designated by the Presidential Council of the Transition, Mr. Garry Conille. I remain a patriot, convinced, long live Haiti,” he wrote on his X account.

Born on February 26, 1966, Garry Conille enters a very closed circle of people having had a double stint in the Prime Minister’s office as Head of Government (September 5, 2011-May 16, 2012). A second knot is untied, let’s wait for the new episode of the constitution of the Government.
