After his fact-finding visit to the streets of Port-au-Prince last weekend, Prime Minister Garry Conille, expressing his great concern, intends to grant more freedom of action to the High Command of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) in its fight against armed gangs across the country and particularly in the metropolitan area.
The PM indicated that even before the arrival of the multinational Mission, operations will be carried out by the PNH. Mr. Conille specifies that the Haitian army will also be mobilized alongside the Police to try to set the tone in the process of eradicating troublemakers in the country.
