Moisturizing cream for dry skin

  1. 2 tablespoons of beeswax
  2. 90 g of vegetable oil (olive, jojoba, almond, avocado)
  3. 10 drops of essential oil (lavender, rose or palmarosa)
  4. 30 ml orange blossom water (optional)

Moisturizing cream for oily skin

  1. 3 g of beeswax
  2. 20 ml of vegetable oil (jojoba, hemp, hazelnut)
  3. 10 drops of essential oil (tea tree, lemon, orange)
  4. 15 ml aloe vera gel
  5. 30 ml of mint or lemon hydrosol (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preparation: Disinfect all your utensils and containers.
  2. Oily phase: In a bain-marie, gently melt beeswax et vegetable oils.
  3. Aqueous phase: In another container, whisk orange blossom water (or hydrosol) and aloe vera gel (if used).
  4. Emulsion: Slowly pour the aqueous phase into the oily phase, whisking vigorously until you obtain a homogeneous cream.
  5. Adding essential oil (optional): Gently incorporate the essential oil drops with cooled cream.
  6. Conservation: Pour the cream into a sterilized airtight jar. Store in the refrigerator and use in 2 to 4 weeks.
