Relocation of Haitian Clubs for international representations

The Haitian clubs, Real Hope and Ouanaminthe FC now know their opponents and the places where they will have to play the Caribbean Cup. These two teams are preparing to face significant challenges, both on and off the field, due to the security situation in Haiti.

Real Hope Preparations

Real Hope, the youngest team in Cap-Haitien, was placed in a competitive group. To continue to progress in this competition, the team will have to put in considerable effort. Due to the non-certification of the fields in Haiti and the insecurity situation, Real Hope will have to travel to Jamaica to play its home matches. This situation poses an additional logistical and financial challenge for the team, but they remain determined to overcome these obstacles to represent the country with dignity.

Ouanaminthe is preparing

For their part, the Ouanaminthe players, nicknamed the Captains, were placed in group B, made up of higher level opponents. To qualify, they will have to create a surprise and show an exceptional performance. Due to these same security issues and non-certification of land in Haiti. Ouanaminthe will play its home matches in the Dominican Republic. This will provide them with the opportunity to play against two local teams, a potential advantage in terms of familiarity with the playing environment.
