Prime Minister Garry Conille is currently in a stable condition, informs Edgard LeBlanc, president of the Presidential Transitional Council, who went to his bedside.
Mr. LeBlanc, who preferred not to mention the place where Dr. Conille “is receiving medical care following discomfort,” added that the doctors present “indicate that Mr. Conille is currently stable.”
Remember that former high authorities of the country, such as former presidents Jean-Claude Duvalier and René Préval, are said to have died en route during their emergency transport to a hospital center in the country, whose health system is one of the most precarious in the region.
I went to visit PM Garry Conille on the evening of Saturday June 8 in a hospital center in Pétion-Ville where he was receiving medical care following an illness. His doctors indicate that Mr. Conille is currently stable.
