June 30, 1886 : President Salomon was re-elected for a seven-year term, but his term was unfortunately interrupted by the winds of insurrection led by General Séide Thélémaque, commander of the Cap-Haitien district. Which forced him to take the path of exile.
June 30, 1879 : brawl in the Chamber of Deputies. This incident took place between the enemy brothers of the Liberal party and triggered the fall of Boisrond Canal who gave up power a year before the end of his mandate.
June 30, 2008 : petition in favor of Prime Minister-designate Michèle Duvivier Pierre-Louis. Around 150 Haitian artists and intellectuals from abroad, through a petition, fully support the choice of Michèle D. Pierre-Louis to replace Jacques Édouard Alexis, censored on April 12 by the Senate.

June 30, 2012 : The Peace Dividend Marketplace-Haiti project is completely ceasing its activities in Haiti. Launched in Port-au-Prince in August 2009, this project aimed to create jobs and promote long-term stability and economic growth in Haiti while facilitating access to locally available goods and services.
June 30, 2007 : the decapitated body of a Haitian is found not far from Pedernales, in a locality called “Los Brujos”. Known as André, this Haitian national had been missing since June 26.
