iciHaiti – Mexico: A lottery ticket commemorates 95 years of diplomatic relations with Haiti

The Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Lottery have unveiled the lottery ticket for draw #3935, which commemorates 95 years of diplomatic relations between Mexico and Haiti based on cooperation, humanitarian aid and socio-cultural exchanges.
The unveiling of the note was chaired by the Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Latin America and the Caribbean, Imanol Belausteguigoitia Reyes, who recalled that the first contact between Mexico and Haiti dates back to 1816, when General Francisco Javier Mina visited Haiti to discuss the independence of Mexico.
Marco Antonio Mena, Director of the National Lottery, said that the lottery tickets commemorate important events in the history of Mexico. The design of this one highlights the friendship between the two nations and is the work of a Haitian-Mexican family.
