This July 9 marked the semi-final between Spain and France in Munich. France, although motivated, was overturned by a very decisive and realistic Spain since the start of this Euro 2024.

A good start to the match for France who opened the scoring in the eighth minute of play by Kolo Muani with a header on a cross from Kylian Mbappé (1-0), this goal also meant their first goal of this Euro in the game. But the joy was short-lived since in the 21st minute the youngest player of the tournament, Lamine Yamal scored a very nice goal for the equalizer (1-1). Three minutes later, in the 24th minute, a shot from Dani Olmo deflected by Koundé allowed Spain to take the lead (1-2).

*Spain in the European Cup final symbolises its realism. Looking at the statistics of the match where La Roja made 6 shots only 2 on target synonymous with these two goals scored in the match against 9 shots and 3 on target on the French side, 59% possession against 41% for the Spanish and 500 passes against 339 for France.

While waiting for the second match of the semi-finals, Spain remains in suspense before knowing the name of its opponent for the grand final of this competition.
