A week before the release of the film “Deadpool and Wolverine”, Marvel Studio released a new trailer this Friday full of clues and revelations about the third installment of the Deadpool saga, expected in theaters on July 26, 2024.
It’s the movie of the summer, a production that Marvel Studio is counting on to revive the MCU, which has been declining or losing momentum since Avengers End-Game in 2019.
Thor Love and Thunder, Ant-man Quantomania and The Marvels were unable to meet the demands of moviegoers who shunned these Marvel productions which did not last long at the box office.
The third Deadpool movie, with a budget of $250 million, aims to restore the MCU’s image with a super-funny Ryan Reynolds teamed up with Hugh Jackman who dons his Wolverine costume again for a perilous adventure in the fiefdom of Casandra Nova, Professor X’s twin sister.
And yes, the X-Men have joined the MCU universe. In fact, several X-Men members will be in the summer blockbuster. In the trailers, we see Sabretooth, Azazel, Lady Death Strike, Pyro, Kalysto and Toad among others.
Additionally, young X-23 from the Logan movie is also confirmed in the latest trailer released this Friday on Marvel Studio’s various social media pages.
This new trailer, which lasts just over 2 minutes, reveals the Deadpool corp, led by Ladypool. For the moment, the interpreter of Ladypool remains a mystery, but that does not stop fans from speculating. The name of the singer Taylor Swift is mentioned as well as Ryan Reynolds’ wife, the actress Blake Lively.
In addition, other even more important cameos are expected in the film. We are talking about Ben Afleck in the role of Daredevil or Jennifer Garner in that of Elektra.
Spider-man will probably team up with Deadpool & Wolverine, because at the end of the trailer, Deadpool keeps imitating Spider-man by pretending to shoot webs through his wrists.
