Me Camille Édouard Junior was installed this Friday, June 14, 2024 as Secretary General of the Prime Minister’s Office, replacing Jude Charles Faustin, who had held this position since June 2020.
On the sidelines of this installation ceremony, the new Secretary General of the Prime Minister said he took very seriously the directives of Prime Minister Garry Conille to make the Prime Minister more effective.
Camille E. Junior recalls that her experience with Prime Minister Garry Conille began on August 17, 2011.
“The Prime Minister’s mission is to get the country out of the current situation. As head of government responsible for coordinating government action, he cannot succeed without a strong prime minister. This requires the commitment of executives and unity, in order to fulfill public service missions,” declared Me Camille Édouard Junior, the current Secretary General of the Prime Minister’s Office.
Me Camille is convinced that the Prime Minister must be strong and efficient, and that the first necessary changes in public administration must start there.
Note that former minister Camille Édouard Junior was installed as Secretary General of the Prime Minister by Prime Minister Gary Conille. The ceremony took place in the presence of the chief of staff Nesmy Manigat, the outgoing secretary general Jude Charles Faustin, the spokesperson for the Prime Minister Jean Jul Joseph, as well as other executives of the prime minister’s office.
It should also be noted that immediately after the installation of the new secretary general of the prime minister’s office, several political personalities and organizations, including the Ayiti Demain diaspora platform and the Le Plaza agreement, welcomed this installation.
