This act comes after armed bandits partially set fire to the police station in the city of Gressier on Sunday, June 30, 2024. According to the latest information, law enforcement officers present were forced to flee in the face of this attack.
It should be noted that on the sidelines of an inspection visit to the women’s prison in Pétion-Ville this Monday, the Minister of Justice, Me Carlos Hercule, declared that the government is informed of the situation in Gressier and that the National Police is working actively to provide an adequate response to the acts perpetrated by armed gangs at the police station in the commune of Gressier.
