Armed gangs once again take control of the Gressier police station
This Sunday, June 30, 2024, the thugs once again stormed the Gressier police station, a police source told the Juno7 editorial staff without giving too many details.
Reports suggested that the law enforcement officers present were forced to flee in the face of the attack. A video widely circulated on social media shows the bandits rejoicing in their act.
For now, the Haitian National Police (PNH) has not yet commented on this attack. It is important to note that this act by the bandits comes while Kenyan police are present in Haiti.
This assault recalls the events of last Friday May 10, when armed groups had already attacked the town of Gressier. On this occasion, they stormed the same police station, set fire to vehicles and sowed panic among residents by using their automatic weapons.
