According to this SYNAPOHA source who requests anonymity, police officers in Pétion-Ville were informed that BSAP agents were leaving Kenscoff to return to Delmas, passing through the commune of Pétion-Ville. A plan would have been put in place by the police in Pétion-Ville to counter the latter.
Having passed the Police vehicle, the BSAP agents decided to continue on their way despite the order given to them by the police to stop. According to our source, another vehicle crossed the road, blocking the BSAP vehicle. Exchanges were allegedly triggered and the BSAP agents were shot dead by police force.
From this clash, 5 BSAP agents were killed and 3 others arrested, according to the source which specifies that the vehicle which transported the latter was taken to the Pétion-Ville police station.
