The regular phase of the Dominican Football Championship ended with decisive results for Atlético Vega Real. The club, which has several Haitian players in its ranks, including Frantzety Hérard, Renel Cinéus, Dalas Aristide and Johnlove Jean Gilles, and led by the former technical director of Violette Athlétique Club, Webens Princimé, known as Ittala, concluded the season with a draw.
Unfortunately, Atlético Vega Real had one imperative on the final day: a victory to qualify for the playoffs. However, despite all the efforts made, the club was unable to overcome Atlantico FC, conceding a goalless draw. This poor performance sealed the club’s fate, depriving them of their chance to participate in the playoffs.
As a result, following this disappointing season, the club has taken the decision to part ways with its Haitian coach. This decision marks a turning point for Atlético Vega Real, which will now have to look to the future and consider new strategies to bounce back in the coming seasons.
This end of the season thus marks a moment of reflection and transition for Atlético Vega Real, while the supporters eagerly await the developments to come for the team.
