In his speech on the occasion of his installation and the members of his Government, this Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at the Villa d’Accueil, Prime Minister Garry Conille asked the Haitian population to believe in him. Claiming to have good will, the 58-year-old doctor called on the population to maintain hope and faith in the future because “the longest and darkest night does not prevent the sun from rising.” thus alluding to the insecurity that is gnawing at the country.
Garry Conille made the diagnosis of Haiti which, he affirms, is very ill. Thus, faced with the painful realities facing the country, the fifty-year-old is committed to governing with Integrity, Transparency and Determination to improve the living conditions of all Haitians.
In passing, he urges the members of his Ministerial Cabinet to participate valiantly in efforts aimed at rectifying the situation. Essentially, the head of government wanted to be reassuring about the need to restore order in Haiti as soon as possible.
