Dear Wyclef and all others who think we should have a dialogue with the gangs in #Haiti!
What we hope to achieve can’t be done through dialogue. The true dialogue can start after the government takes control of the situation. After justice is rendered. If the government is unable to show some authority, then why exactly did the US spend millions of dollars to bring some mercenaries from Kenya and other countries to Haiti?
What’s the point of burning our constitution to put in place a Presidential council with the same failed practices and methods?
The government needs to disarm the gangs; they need to arrest and punish the intellectual authors of these atrocities, but we can’t start with some empty or folkloric dialogue!
We must follow the steps!
Too many people have already died and seen their lives ruined because of this well-organized chaos!
It’s time for accountability and justice!
Peace and love!
