The political transition process in Haiti is underway, aimed at organizing elections to put the country back on the constitutional path and restore the normal functioning of institutions. The Presidential Transitional Council (CPT) has begun the establishment of the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP), but this approach is criticized for its lack of transparency.
Benzico Pierre, leader of the Haiti Devant party, expressed his concerns during the Panel Magik program. He insisted on the need for a transparent process for choosing CEP members, proposing a method based on the selection of representatives by sector, on criteria of competence and integrity. This approach, according to him, would strengthen the credibility of the electoral process and the confidence of the population.
