The Brazilian Football Federation has revealed the list of players called up for the Seleção’s next qualifying matches for the 2026 World Cup. Junior Dorival’s men are preparing to face Venezuela on November 14, then Uruguay on November 19. The Brazilian team displays a combination of experience and youth, with talented players coming from several major clubs.
Goalkeeper: A Solid Line of Defense
In the cages, Dorival chose three trusted goalkeepers: Bento, Ederson and Weverton. This trio represents insurance for Brazil, notably with Ederson, a regular at major European meetings with Manchester City. Bento, meanwhile, continues to make a good impression at the club, and Weverton brings his experience to complete this high-profile selection.
In defense, Brazil will count on the solidity of Danilo and Vanderson as full-backs, accompanied by Abner and Guilherme Arana to add depth on the wings. The central sector will be well guarded with Éder Militão, Gabriel Magalhães, Marquinhos and Murillo. The midfield brings together talents like André, Andreas Pereira, Bruno Guimarães, Gerson, Raphinha, who is on cloud nine this season with Barca and Paqueta offer a mixture of creativity, vision of the game and efficiency in recovery of the ball.
In attack, Dorival Junior will be able to count on young talents and emblematic figures. Estevao, Igor Jesus, Luiz Henrique, Rodrygo, Savinho and Vinicius Jr make up an explosive offensive line. After a very complicated week, a 4-0 defeat against Barça and a long-awaited golden ball gone to waste, Vinicius Jr, star of Real Madrid, will be particularly expected for his ability to break through opposing defenses, while Rodrygo and Luiz Henrique will bring their precision and flair.
