The coordinator of the National Union for Integrity and Reconciliation in Haiti (UNIR-Haiti), Clarens Renois, disapproves of the decisions adopted by the Presidential Transitional Council (CPT), during a council of ministers, violating the Agreement of April 3. For him, without the formalization of the President of the CPT, Edgard Leblanc Fils, in the official journal Le Moniteur, the resolutions remain without effect.

The leader of the Collective of January 30 disapproves of the resolution adopted by members of the face-to-face Transition Council establishing the rotating presidency and a majority of 5/7 reached. In a common position adopted on May 13, 2024, the Grand Rally for the Evolution of Haiti (GREH), the National Union for Integrity and Reconciliation (UNIR-Haiti), the Haitian Tèt Kale Party (PHTK), the Organization of the People in Struggle (OPL), the Popular Patriotic Movement Dessalinien (MOPOD), the Alternative League for Progress and Haitian Emancipation (LAPEH) demand the withdrawal of the Resolution relating to decision-making.

The leaders of the January 30 Collective continue to brandish the illegal nature of the document which violates the provisions adopted in the Agreement of April 3, 2024 establishing and functioning of the Presidential Transitional Council.

In the same vein, the leader of UNIR-Ayiti, in an interview given to Radio Kiskeya on Friday, May 10, mentioned administrative difficulties hindering the process of implementing certain decisions taken in the Council of Ministers.

Over the past week, the CPT adopted resolutions including that extending the mandate of judges at the Superior Court of Accounts and Administrative Disputes (CSA/CA) and that providing for a majority of 5/7 to consolidate decisions. Such provisions remain ineffective without the promulgation in the official journal Le Moniteur of the decree relating to the designation of the former President of the Senate Edgard, as President of the Presidential Transitional Council (CPT), says the leader of the Collectif du January 30.
