Copa America 2024: Colombia inflicts a spanking on Panama

The Colombian football team pulverized Panama in the Quarter-finals of this 48th edition of the Copa America (5-0). With its essential maestro James Rodriguez, the cafeteros are heading to the semi-finals and will play big in the competition.
The opening goal was scored very early by J. Cordoba in the 8th minute of play. James was quick to score from the penalty spot in the 15th minute and Luiz Diaz also scored his first goal in the competition in the 38th minute. Colombia were monstrous in the first part with 3 goals on the scoreboard.
In the second half the tricolors kept the same rhythm with Ricardo Rios who registered his name in the game (70th minute) It was the fourth goal. Miguel Borja closed the party by scoring the 5th goal of the match again on penalty.
Nestor Lorenzo’s men have qualified for the semi-finals of this Copa America and will have to do well in the future.
