The Haitian star of Olympique Lyonnais, Melchie Daelle Dumornay, participated in “part” of collective training this Thursday after several months of absence due to an ankle injury, the club said.

Hit in an ankle last November against Montpellier, the Haitian international midfielder underwent successful surgery at the beginning of January 2024, an intervention which caused four months of unavailability.

Finally, she has been training Lyon leaders individually for several weeks in addition to providing care. The near return of the Haitian international is good news for fans of the Haitian selection and Olympique Lyonnais. The latter will face Corventina’s former club, Stade de Reims, on Sunday March 2. We are waiting to see if the Grenadières star will return to the field.
