Serge Rodriguez was a multi-talented journalist. He worked at the Voice of America (VOA) as a reporter and anchor of arts and culture news. Nicknamed “the International Lord,” he was also known for his sense of humor and singing talents.
The news of his death shocked his loved ones, friends and colleagues. “I learned with sadness of the passing of my friend, mentor and former colleague Sergio Rodriguez,” wrote journalist Coralie Saint-Louis on X. “Sergio was a force in every room and always brought laughter with him. I send my love and light to my friends at VOAKreyol,” she continued.
