They took the opportunity to vandalize the equipment, take away the furniture and the raw materials necessary for printing the newspaper,” we can read in a note made public by those responsible for the oldest Quotidien in Haiti.

Even if the country is neither managed nor administered and its judicial system is dysfunctional, Le Nouvelliste has indicated that, faced with this horrible misdeed, with serious consequences, the management of the Journal can only rely on the justice authorities and police whose role is to protect the lives and property of citizens.
