The next challenge for Switzerland will be England, who eliminated Slovakia 2-1 after extra time on Sunday in Gelsenkirchen. This meeting will take place on July 6 in Düsseldorf.
Germany also qualified for the quarter-finals by beating Denmark 2-0 at home, despite a 25-minute interruption due to a violent storm.
