Women’s Football/FIFA ranking: Grenadières nailed in the top 60

By Mythsouka Jean-Philippe

In the latest freshly released FIFA women’s rankings, Haiti was ranked in 53rd place, just behind Venezuela in 52nd place and South Africa in 51st place. At the top of the ranking we successively have Spain, France, England, Germany and the United States in the first 5 places.

Haiti’s current position in the rankings may seem disappointing, but we should not forget the progress the team has made in the past. The Grenadières have repeatedly demonstrated their ability on the field, and it is important to recognize their past achievements.

The last defeat against Puerto Rico was a setback for the team, but that should not discourage the players. On the contrary, they must use this experience as a source of motivation to improve and progress.

Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond their control, the Grenadières have not had the opportunity to play international matches recently. The team and technical staff must prepare for future competitions.

Supporters hope that Grenadières can soon climb the rankings and achieve positive results. They have confidence in the team and its potential. The Grenadières have already proven that they can compete with top teams, and it is time for them to show their true potential on the international stage.
