As a prelude to the friendly preparation match for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers; the selection gathers at the place where this friendly match will take place. Members of the technical staff and players have already arrived there. Others are preparing to go to Guyanese soil.

Tuesday March 19, 2024.- With a view to facing the French Guiana football selection on March 23 as a friendly match serving as preparation for the qualifiers for the future World Cup which will be played in North America (USA, Canada, Mexico), Haiti is putting the pieces of the puzzle together.

In fact, some players such as: Fafa Picault, Belmar Joseph and Garven Metusala arrived in the Dominican Republic this afternoon around 5 o’clock. There is also with them the physiotherapist Léonard. Tomorrow they will have to fly to Guyana for the match.

A match where fans of the senior men’s team are impatiently waiting because a new coach is in office. Sébastien Migné with a possibility for a new project, new faces and a new lease of life for the grenadiers. This March 23 will probably mark a turning point within this selection. The final objective is clear, Haiti will have to participate in another World Cup.
