Football_Liga: Mbappé and Real Madrid trampled by Las Palmas

Real Madrid have once again let valuable points slip in La Liga, this time away to Las Palmas, with Kylian Mbappé still struggling to find the back of the net in the Spanish league. The final score of 1-1 reflects the frustration of a Madrid team that, despite its status, is unable to impose itself.
For the third consecutive time, the French striker remained silent, unable to unlock his goal counter in La Liga.
This Thursday, in the Canary Islands, Real Madrid had to settle for a draw, a disappointing result that highlights the offensive and defensive difficulties of the Merengue club at the start of the season.
The match got off to a bad start for Carlo Ancelotti’s men, who conceded a goal in the 5th minute, from a Moreiro goal. Once again, the Madrid defence showed worrying signs of fragility, letting a chance slip away that Las Palmas did not fail to convert. This initial blow forced Real Madrid to chase the score for much of the match.
The Castilian team nevertheless managed to avoid defeat thanks to a penalty obtained 20 minutes from the end, converted with composure by Vinicius Jr. This equalizing goal allowed the Madrilenians to save a point, but it was not enough to dispel the concerns hanging over the team.
In the absence of convincing performances, the critics are starting to make themselves heard. Particularly regarding Mbappé, whose integration into the Madrid squad seems more doubtful than expected. The star striker, expected to be the club’s new offensive leader, is going through a dry spell that contrasts with his past exploits in Ligue 1.
For Carlo Ancelotti, the observation is bitter: his team is struggling to reach the peak of its potential, and the defensive shortcomings as well as the offensive difficulties are all warning signs. Real Madrid already finds itself four points behind FC Barcelona, which has had a perfect start to the season with three wins in three matches.
