The Haitian Government and the Transitional Presidential Council are setting course for the process of forming the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP). It is with this in mind that the “Inter-Women Dialogue” is in its final stages of the process of designating its representative on the Council.
THE HAITI FACTOR, July 18, 2024._ « “Holding elections in Haiti is one of the top priorities of the government led by Prime Minister Garry Conille and the Presidential Transitional Council.”
As a result, they began to write to the various sectors of national life to ask them to initiate the process leading to the designation of their representatives within the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP).
The group called “Inter-women Dialogue” is one of the structures that received correspondence from the Haitian government.
After receiving the said correspondence, the leaders organized a press conference to clarify the steps relating to the appointment of its representative.
Thus, after multiple consultations in transparency resulting in a consensus between the sectors, the “Inter-women Dialogue” plans to designate
a candidate to stand for re-election to the CEP.
The identity of the representative will be known to all shortly.
