The former Minister of Youth and Sports in 2006, Fritz Belizaire, was appointed this Tuesday, April 30, 2024 as Prime Minister.
His appointment was made by the majority of the 7 presidential advisors having the right to vote.
Recall that the first Ariel Henry officially submitted the letter of resignation from his government to the council of ministers on April 24, 2024 from Los Angeles.
Following Henry’s resignation, Minister of Economy and Finance Michel Patrick Boisvert was appointed interim Prime Minister in a decree dated April 24, 2024.
