Garry Conille forms his government, the decision officially published in Le Moniteur

The decree appointing the members of Garry Conille’s government was officially published this Tuesday, June 11, 2024 in Le Moniteur, the official newspaper of the Republic. This new government includes 14 ministers, including 4 women, spread across various key portfolios.

According to the decree in article 1, the appointments are as follows:

Garry Conille: Minister of the Interior and Territorial Communities
Carlos Hercule: Minister of Justice and Public Security
Dominique Dupuy: Minister of Foreign Affairs and Religious Affairs, as well as Minister of Haitians Living Abroad
Ketleen Florestal: Minister of Economy and Finance, as well as Minister of Planning and External Cooperation
Vernet Joseph: Minister of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Rural Development
Raphaël Hosty: Minister of Public Works, Transport and Communications
James Monazard: Minister of Trade and Industry, as well as Minister of Tourism
Moïse Jean-Pierre Fils: Minister of the Environment
Antoine Augustin: Minister of National Education and Vocational Training, as well as Minister of Culture and Communication
Georges Wilbert Franck: Minister of Social Affairs and Labor
Georges Fils Brignol: Minister of Public Health and Population
Marie Françoise Suzan: Minister of the Status of Women and Women’s Rights
Niola Lynn Sarah Devalis Octavius: Minister of Youth, Sports and Civic Action
Jean Marc Berthier Antoine: Minister of Defense

The publication of this decree marks a significant turning point in the transition. While waiting for the government to be installed, the transition can finally take off.

The establishment of this new government is expected to bring reforms and policies aimed at responding to current and future challenges.
