Armed bandits operating in Gressier (West) assassinated on the morning of Monday, July 1, 2024, a minibus driver named Francin Jean. He was the victim while traveling to Jacmel to deliver goods. After killing him, the gangsters subsequently burned his body, according to Changeux Méhu, President of the Association of Owners and Drivers of Haiti (APCH).
THE HAITI FACTOR, July 1, 2024._Blood was shed in Gressier following the assassination on the morning of Monday, July 1, 2024, of a minibus driver named Francin Jean.
It was the President of the Association of Owners and Drivers of Haiti (APCH), Changeux Méhu, contacted by telephone by the newspaper, who confirmed the news.
According to the Public Transport Unionist, Francin Jean was attacked and then shot dead by gang members as he was taking the Gressier road to try to get to Jacmel, in the South East of Haiti, where he was to deliver goods.
After committing their crime, the bandits set fire to the driver’s body where the crime was committed.
