The Director of the Baptiste Béthel School whose name is Célibon Pascal is one of the residents murdered on the evening of Friday June 14 to Saturday June 15, 2024, in Lagon, 3rd communal section of the Commune of Newfoundland, in the Department of ‘Artibonite. He is also a Pastor, according to our colleagues from the Artibonite press.
THE HAITI FACTOR, June 16, 2024._ At least six (6) people were killed by armed bandits on the evening of Friday June 14 to Saturday June 15, 2024, in Newfoundland, in the Artibonite Department.
The events took place in “Lagon”, in the 3rd municipal section of Newfoundland, following the irruption of armed bandits in the area.
Among the victims is Pastor Célibon Pascal, also Director of the Baptiste Béthel School in Lagon according to several colleagues from the Artibonitian press contacted by telephone including Frantz Renel Lebrun.
Members of the “Ti Bwadòm” gang are accused of this crime, according to several local sources.
During their raid in Lagon, the gangsters also set fire to the house of the former member of the Casec cartel in the area whose name is Albert Jacques.
