The High Command of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) has made changes within the West Departmental Directorate. Following these rotations, Divisional Commissioners Julbert Conseillant and Xavier Séide were respectively appointed new Departmental Directors of West-1 and West-2.
THE HAITI FACTOR, June 30, 2024._Divisional Commissioners Julbert Conseillant and Xavier Séide were appointed respectively as the new Departmental Director of West-1 and West-2 by the Director General of the National Police of Haiti, Rameau Normil.
Julbert Conseillant replaces Divisional Commissioner Cantave Yvon in this position, while Xavier Séide, for his part, succeeded Principal Commissioner Roger Lamartinière.
The two new Departmental Directors were installed in their new positions on Saturday June 29, 2024, during a ceremony held in the presence of police officers of all ranks and ranks, among others, under the direction of Inspector General Péyo Smith.
As for the predecessors of Gilbert Conseillant and Xavier Séide, namely Cantave Yvon and Roger Lamartinière, they are both transferred to the Office of the Acting Director General of the PNH, Rameau Normil.
These changes are part of the steps aimed at restoring order, peace and security in the West Department, particularly in the metropolitan region of Port-au-Prince, under the influence of gangs for many months .
