The Ministry of National Education and Vocational Training (MENFP), in a press release published this Thursday, June 6, announced severe sanctions against employees involved in acts of corruption linked to the manipulation of documents for the legalization of diplomas and certificates. Following a report from the Legal Affairs Department (DAJ) and complaints received from users, the MENFP decided to suspend the offending employees and is considering their dismissal.

This decision is part of a series of measures aimed at strengthening control and eradicating corruption within the Ministry. The General Inspectorate of Education, in collaboration with the DAJ, will conduct a thorough investigation to identify all those involved and ensure that they receive appropriate sanctions in accordance with current laws.

The MENFP reminds citizens that the document legalization process only requires the purchase of a receipt from the DGI and that no additional payment is required. The Ministry also encourages the public to report any illegal payment requests by calling the dedicated numbers for this purpose.
