Haiti – FLASH: Resumption of the Conditional Stay Program (official)

On Thursday, August 29, 2024, the Biden Administration officially resumed the issuance of Advance Travel Authorizations (ATAs) under the Humanitarian Parole Program, which had been temporarily suspended since August 2, following an internal report from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) revealing a significant level of fraud.
In a statement, the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), an agency of the Department of Homeland Security, announced that « […] The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has resumed processing Advance Travel Authorizations (ATAs) for parole release for certain nationals of Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela (CHNV).
