Publication this Friday, August 9, 2024, in the columns of the newspaper “Le Moniteur” of the Order appointing a new acting Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Haiti (FADH) and the new Coordinator of the National Commission for the Fight against Drugs (CONALD). These new appointments were made on Wednesday.
THE HAITI FACTOR, August 9, 2024._Continuation of appointments within the Transitional Government of which Garry Conille is the Prime Minister.
Indeed, in a decree promulgated on Wednesday August 7 and then published this Friday, the tenant of the Prime Minister’s office appointed Derby Guerrier as the new interim Commander of the Army.
Mr. Derby Guerrier replaces Colonel Jodel Message in this position, who held this position under the Presidency of Jovenel Moïse.
For his part, Mr. Karl-Henry Périclès is appointed Coordinator of the National Commission for the Fight against Drugs (CONALD), according to the Order in circulation.
A copy will be given to each person concerned for this purpose.
