Stéphane Vincent, Technical Advisor to Prime Minister Garry Conille, also co-founder of the political party “En Avant” of the former Deputy of Pétion-Ville, Jerry Tardieu, was installed on Friday, August 9, 2024, as the new Director of Immigration and Emigration. It was the Director General of the Ministry of the Interior and Territorial Communities, Ruthelande Anglade who installed him in his new functions. THE HAITI FACTOR, August 9, 2024_A new Director officially takes command of the Directorate of Immigration and Emigration (DIE) in Haiti on Friday, August 9, 2024. This is Stéphane Vincent, current Technical Advisor to Prime Minister Garry Conille.
The co-founder of the political party “En Avant” of which the former Deputy of Pétion-Ville, Jerry Tardieu is the leader, was installed in his new functions by the Director General of the Ministry of the Interior and Territorial Communities (MICT), Ruthelande Anglade, during an official ceremony held at the official residence, in Musseau, Delmas 60.
In his introduction, the number 2 of the Ministry of the Interior promised his frank collaboration to Stephane Vincent in matters of Immigration and Emigration.
According to Mr. Anglade, Prime Minister Garry Conille chose the specialist in information technology and telecommunications law with the aim of bringing new life to the Ministry of the Interior and Local Authorities (MICT).
For his part, the new Director of Immigration and Emigration, Stephane Vincent, in his speech recognized that it is his duty to provide quality services to the Haitian population with transparency and integrity.
He also promises to ensure that the rights of Haitian compatriots are respected both in Haiti and abroad and gives the guarantee to Prime Minister Garry Conille that he will also ensure the strict application of the circular of June 25, 2024 relating to measures related to the recovery of the Public Administration and the fight against corruption.
Mr. Vincent also said he was committed to ensuring that the head of government’s decision to tax all state revenues was implemented. To achieve this, he invited his new colleagues and all DIE employees to actively participate in the institution’s work.
Finally, Stephane Vincent asks them to respect the rules of ethics and professional conduct in order to allow him to succeed in his time at the head of the company.
