The decree creating the Presidential Transitional Council of 9 Members is published on Friday April 12, 2024 by the resigning Government in the columns of the Journal “Le Moniteur”. The Council of Ministers gave in after making numerous changes in the Document.
THE HAITI FACTOR, April 12, 2024._ Publication this Friday, April 12, 2024, in the columns of the newspaper “LE MONITEUR” of the decree creating the Presidential Transitional Council.
The decision was taken by the Council of Ministers in a special issue (#14). The decree is signed by the resigning Prime Minister, Ariel Henry and all his Ministers.

This document was finally revealed to the general public after several weeks of gnashing of teeth on the part of the ministers of the resigned Government who wanted at all costs for the document to be transmitted to the legal services of each ministry for study of compliance with organic laws.
If it is true that the decree has been published, there remain other steps to take, in particular the publication of the Political Agreement for the peaceful and orderly transition, the appointment of the 9 members, their swearing in as well as their installation .
