The Transitional Presidential Council adopted, this Tuesday, the proposal for a rotating presidency but also to increase the majority from 4 out of 7 to 5 out of 9, although they had previously disagreed on this idea.
This agreement found will help promote greater inclusiveness and collective decision-making. It will make it possible, among other things, to extend the mandate of the members of the Superior Court of Auditors and Administrative Disputes (CSC/CA) by two months in order to guarantee stability in the functioning of this key institution, which is crucial for good governance and the management of public affairs.
The CPT also sent, on Monday, a correspondence to the President of Kenya William Ruto, requesting an acceleration in the deployment of the Multinational Security Support Mission (MMSS), with a view to helping to maintain order and ensure safety during this critical period.
