For several months, the municipalities of Carrefour and Gressier have been in the sights of armed bandits who want to extend their territories in the West.

Despite the reduced deployment of Kenyan police officers added to the announcements made by Prime Minister Garry Conille and the Acting Director General of the Haitian National Police, Rameau Normil, armed gangs continue to reign supreme in several communes in the West, particularly those affected by the state of security emergency.
