Haiti – World Cup Chile 2025 qualifiers: Our U-20 Grenadiers continue to prepare
16/02/2024 08:45:59 Our U-20 Grenadiers led by coach Angelot Jean Baptiste, have been based in Basseterre (St. Kitts and Navis) since February 11, 2024, to complete the last phase of their preparation before participating in the first round of the Confederation qualifiers of North America, Central America and the Caribbean (CONCACAF) for the FIFA World Cup in this category which will be held in Chile in 2025.
Of the 24 players selected for this training course, 22 are already there, including two goalkeepers, and the team obtained a draw. [2-2] in a test match played against “Coneree United”, a premier division team from St Kits and Nevis. Haiti which led by two to zero (S Lebrun and Esaie Louis) saw its lead collapse by conceding two goals at the very end of the match (88th and 90th +1)
The team will continue to train before entering the competition
