Arrest on Friday June 14, 2024, at Toussaint Louverture International Airport of Joseph Ludy. The prison escapee was put behind bars by agents of the BCN-Interpol (DCPJ) when he was preparing to leave Haiti for the United States of America, informed the Haitian police.
THE HAITI FACTOR, June 14, 2024._The National Police of Haiti (PNH) have caught yet another prison escapee. His name is Joseph Ludy known as “Papy Colo”.
According to Haitian police authorities, Papy Colo was arrested at Toussaint Louverture International Airport by agents of the BCN-Interpol (DCPJ) when taking the plane to go to the United States.
Joseph Ludy who escaped from the civil prison of Port-au-Prince commonly known as the “National Penitentiary”, during the attack orchestrated on the evening of Friday March 2, 2024, against the largest prison center in Haiti, was actively sought by the DCPJ for murder, rape, criminal conspiracy and prison escape.
It should also be remembered that 2 months after the armed gang attack, the Central Directorate of Judicial Police (DCPJ) launched wanted notices against more than a hundred fugitives including Dimitry Hérard, Jean Laguel Civil, Clifford Brandt and Woudly Éthéard and Dunès Vilpique, among others.
