P-to-P, February 29, 2024 [AlterPresse] — A student from the Faculty of Agronomy and Veterinary Medicine (Famv) of the State University of Haiti (Ueh) was shot and injured during an armed gang attack this Thursday, February 29 2024, against the faculty grounds, a Famv official informed AlterPresse/AlterRadio.
The bullet-wounded student is receiving appropriate care in a hospital center, confirms the head of the Famv in shock and very emotional.
For an undetermined period of time, students from the Faculty of Agronomy were taken hostage by armed attackers.
